At the heart of BA Premium Hospitality is Barbara Avdis and her belief that exceptional hospitality is the result of vision, a deep understanding of place and people, and strong financial foundations.
BA Premium Hospitality is the natural evolution of her longstanding involvement with historic and distinctive hotels in Greece, enriched by a European perspective through her role as former Chairman and current Vice Chairman and Co-Founder of Historic Hotels of Europe.
Her work is defined by trusted, long-term collaborations and an independent approach that elevates hospitality assets beyond accommodation. Real change happens when hotels become destinations with identity, emotional resonance, operational clarity, and financial strength. Continuous research and refinement of methods, practices, and performance are central to her approach and modus operandi.
Her contribution to the sector includes founding Yades Greek Historic Hotels and serving in board roles within the Greek National Tourism Organisation and the wider hospitality sector. She advises a portfolio of awarded hospitality properties in Greece, alongside a new generation of greenfield hospitality developments set to open in the coming years.
She holds a degree from EHL Hospitality Business School and an MBA from SDA Bocconi.
